We engrave your signs on brass or stainless steel plates with custom wording along with any design; they are individually sized and engraved to your exact requirements. Single engraved signs can be designed and produced in a very short time.

The following are descriptions and uses of some of our signage and labeling products:

  • Entrance signs will ensure clear and concise information that help your clients and visitors know exactly where you are situated. They could contain information such as department names and floor numbers etc.
  • Door signs come with peel-and-press adhesive strips for easy installation, they could also come with their own holes and screws or they could even be customized to fit your exact installation needs.
  • The primary function of our memorial plates is to identify, dedicate, commemorate or recognize people, events, places, or deeds. They provide the versatility to accommodate each of these functions more professionally and with more dignity than any other medium available. Plated brass plates are a symbol of distinction; projecting an image of quality and stability, and add to the professional quality of any environment. Our superior design engraving and finishing techniques offer unlimited possibilities for unique plates.
  • Our desk signs are generally mounted on wooden stands, they sit perfectly on your executives' desks.
  • Your paper certificates and diplomas can also be transferred and engraved on brass plates to get a nice exposure on your wall, desk or shelf.

Customizing Your Sign

1. Choosing the Shape and Dimensions of your Plate

General

Rectangular shapes are by far the most popular shapes plates take, however we can also customize your plate according to the shape you want, special cutout shapes may require an extra charge. You can choose any dimension for your plate not exceeding 900x600 mm, if you require a bigger plate then your plate will be composed of smaller parts that will then be assembled and mounted on a wooden plate.

Door Signs and Desk Signs

Door signs usually come in the following standard rectangular dimensions in mm (width x height): 140 x 110 - 180 x 85 - 220 x 170 - 310 x 220

Other dimensions can also be made according to your requirements.

2. Choosing the Plate finishing

Plating and/or Patina

Electroplating is a process whereby a very thin layer of a metal is transferred chemically to cover the surface of another metal. For example a gold-plated plate has a very fine coat (only a few microns) of 24K gold. Because gold resists oxidization gold-plating will also protect your plate. Adding metal plating such as silver or gold makes your plate look more valuable and attractive. You may choose among the following plating options: None, Nickel, Silver or Gold. We can electroplate plates that do not exceed 480x480 mm.

Patina

Patina is a procedure used to discolor a metal by oxidation. For example Antique patina is used to artificially "age" a silver-plated or silver metal. Antiquating metals prevents tarnishing.
Patina Options:

  • None
  • Bronze (only if your plate is made of brass and has no plating)
  • Antique (only if you plate is made is silver-plated)

Applying Epoxy

Although our plates are lacquered by default, epoxy (a thick, hard and clear layer) can also be applied on the surface of a plate to further protect its finish from humidity and oxidization. We highly advise you to order this feature for your outdoor plates.

3. Coloring the Plate

The engraved parts of your plate can be color-filled according to your preferences. All our plates are color-filled manually and the color goes all the way through, so it cannot wear off.
